You can have two load bases in different locations. For example, if you have a house with multiple heights, you can locate a base at each height. Your robot will always be loaded.

How do I know if my charging base is damaged?

If you think your charging base is damaged, before you buy a new one, make sure that the fault is from the base and not from the feeder or robot:

• Check that you have clean Roomba's bottom connectors.
  If they are dirty, clean them with alcohol and try charging your robot again.
• Perform a reset to your robot's battery. See how to do a reset Here.
• Try loading the Roomba by connecting the feeder directly to the robot via the side connection.
  If when you connect the feeder and do a reset, your Roomba starts charging, the problem may be in your charging dock.
