You can have two charging docks in different locations. For example, if you have a house with several floors, you can place a dock in every floor. Your robot will always be loaded.
How do I know if I have damaged my charging dock?
If you believe that your charging dock is damaged, before buying a new one, make sure the problem is in the chargng dock and not in the power supply:
- Verify that the Roomba bottom connectors are clean.
If they are dirty, clean them with alcohol and try to reload your robot.
- Perform a reset to your robot battery. See how to reset here.
- Try to load the Roomba connecting the power supply directly to the lateral connexion yof your robot.
If after connecting the power supply and doing a reset, Roomba starts to load, the charging Dock could be the problem.
